Bad title for a blog, but the personal life has not been very exciting since the last blog, even though the world has been full of events and drama. (Really awful high school prose, ain't this)
Alito and ABC anchorman Bob Woodruff and his cameraman who got bombed in Iraq have been the centers of the news today. (The cameraman is very secondary in the news coverage.) And to add to the misery in Iraq a teenage girl has supposedly died from the bird flu (all they need over there to contend with.)
(This section is being typed on Monday night). Gloomy and windy day today. Not much exciting at work and not much exciting being reported in Des Moines. Probably actually lots of important stuff, but I have been having a restless phase recently (not young, just restless). I guess if you seek a brighter day as the world turns life can be beautiful if you avoid passions during secret storms.
An interesting Reuters story on the Drudge site that W says that Bill Clinton and Daddy Bush have become such good friends that Bill is almost a member of the Bush family. And W thinks that Hillary will succeed him as President. (If Bill becomes a Bush will he be known as B?)
There is a Catholic high school in Clinton, Iowa named Clinton Prince of Peace. Really bad pun in this I am forced to share with you.
At the SAG awards last night in Hollywood they gave a lifetime achievement award to Shirley Temple. She still looks pretty good.
Well, dear friends, this must be all for right now. Bed time. I have been weak about blogging every night in this new blog. But I have heard no loud shout from the blogosphere that everyone is waiting for my creativity online. I know you are shy about it. Di di mau!
